While there might be minor differences between the OnePlus Ace 5 and its global counterpart, the OnePlus 13R, these changes are expected to be minimal. The overall specifications will largely remain consistent across both the Chinese and global variants.

OnePlus 13R Pricing

The OnePlus Ace 5 has launched in China at a price of 2,299 Yuan, which roughly converts to $315 or ₹27,000 in India. However, the pricing is unlikely to be the same outside China.

Considering the OnePlus 12R debuted in India at a starting price of ₹39,999, it’s expected that the OnePlus 13R will be priced similarly, possibly the same or slightly higher.

What Could Change on the OnePlus 13R?

One of the most common differences we see between Chinese and global smartphone variants is in battery capacity and charging speeds.

It’s almost confirmed that the OnePlus 13R will feature a slightly smaller battery, around 6,000mAh.

Even with this smaller battery, the OnePlus 13R is still expected to offer solid battery life, as 6,000mAh is still quite substantial. However, if it retained the 6,415mAh battery found in the Ace 5, it would have offered even better battery endurance.

Additionally, there may be some differences in the software, as the global variant is expected to run a slightly modified version of OxygenOS compared to the Chinese variant.

OnePlus 13R Launch Date

The OnePlus 13R is scheduled to launch in India on January 7, 2025, alongside its bigger sibling, the OnePlus 13.

Last year, the OnePlus 12R garnered significant attention, and it remains to be seen how Indian users will perceive the OnePlus 13R.
